Its been too long

Wow I have been terrible at blogging lately, it's just been crazy at our house these past few weeks. Tyler was finally able to do his latest and hopefully last surgery for his eye. We're keeping our fingers crossed! He had a cornea transplant, and has been at home taking it easy. The doctor restricted him from any sort of exercise, and he can't lift anything heavier than a milk carton. So he has resulted in playing video games, and watching movies. I can't even complain, because it's nice to have him home and poor guy who wants to stay home all day? It stinks. We've also found out that we are expecting our first baby. No not planned, but greatly welcomed and such a blessing considering that from a previous injury Tyler's doctor said there was a 75%-80% chance that we would not be able to have kids. So we'll take this one and absolutely love it! I'm excited and nervous all at the same time though, we have a lot to plan! I'm about 2 months now and although it probably doesn't quite show, boy can I feel it. Who would have thought that something so small (currently the size of a green olive), could be making me so tired? I'm so excited about becoming a mommy, and hope to read as much as possible on how to be the kind I've always wanted to be. The mom that reads to her kids every night, and is so patient all the time. The mom that for no reason will take their kids out to lunch just to see how everything is going with them. That creative mom that makes Halloween costumes to be original, and bakes a ton of goodies for friends and bake sales. I know that life most likely won't be always so peachy, I mean is anyone's? But I certainly hope to have figured some stuff out. I am so grateful for my husband, for his patience with me and to able to go through with all of this with my best friend. I am so grateful for relief society sisters who check in on us, and friends that are for ever praying for us. I'm loving life these days! :)
